Old double barrel shotgun questions.
I have questions about an old shotgun that was bought by my grandfather in 1933. It is a Marshwood side-by-side hammerless 12 gauge with 29" barrels. I'd like to know if anyone knows anything about it, it's worth, where it was made and what ever became of the maker.

Good Evening, and welcome to the Forums...
The MARSHWOOD was made by Stevens Arms. You have the model M-315, Came in various guages, Hammerless, Steel Barrels and was a Field Gun...My data base says it was made in the Early 1980's and is Worth $150.00 to $175.00.........

The only thing that bothers me about this is the seeming incompatability of the 1933/1980s dates. Another possibility: MARSHWOOD was also used as a tradename by Charles William Stores of New York City. I know nothing about which guns they sold....could have very well been made by Stevens, or perhaps one of the many Crescent/Folsom brands. 0
