National Match Gold cup?

I just bought an 80 series a couple weeks ago. I remeber reading here that you should shoot wadcutters from these pistols or some type of match ammo. I seen nothing in the manual refering to this. Can someone clear this up for me. THANKS

  Colt Gold Cups come with a standard 16-pound recoil spring for use with standard loads, as well as a 14-pound spring for use with light target loads. Most IPSC shooters use semi-wadcutters for this.

  If you are going to shoot alot, a recoild buffer part and spring can be had from Brownells. It does help counteract a lot of vibration.
