I use 5.6 grs. of HS-6 and 9.8 grs. of H110 and CCI 500 primers behind 85 gr. Hornady JHP's. Work fine in My Blackhawk.

One of my favorite "Fun Calibers", have been loading it for about 8 years. At first I had trouble with cases buckling slightly during bullet seating and crimping, even with a very light crimp. Tried different cases, dies and bullets but finaly solved the problem with a Lee Taper Crimp Die from Midway {Midway part #171-306 which is listed for the .32 S&W Long}. I wish some one made a cartridge check gage for this caliber. My favorite bullet is the Hornady 90 gr. hbwc with 3.7 gr. of Accurate #2. Your gun will probably like something else. Get some .32 S&W Long brass, it is interchangeable in the .32 H&R Magnum chambered guns. However drop the powder charge accordingly. I have found the .32 S&W Long to be more accurate for target shooting than the .32 H&R Magnum...........Hondo
