Whats the difference??

My brother has a Ruger Mark II, and my dad has a Ruger 22/45. What is the difference between the two?

  the 22/45 is suppose to simulate the weight and feel of a goverment model 1911 .45

  The 22/45 also has a polymer receiver & a 1911 style mag release.
