Buck Model 110 knife
Is the anyway to tell the age of one of these knives. I've got my Dad's old one. Just wondering
Respect those who protect us now just as you would those who died for us in the past.

RSCole88 as far as the 110 folding hunter goes the first ones out had rather sharp edges on the bolsters and all straight lines, and now they are more rounded off. The tang stamp is the way to tell a knifes age within a range as Saxon says they are not numbered. But the tang stamp that is on a knife will tell you it was made from one point in time to another, unless that tang stamp is the one they are still useing. I dont have 2 110's in front of me now to tell if the stamp is different on the old or new. Some time you can narrow it down by the handle material, they may have only used that material in such and such years, Sargents Guide to pocket Knives has a good section on tang stamps I belive mine is the 98 or 99 issue.Hope this helps Good Luck 0
