Model 12 stock

I found a model 12 12ga. buttstock for sale on the net. Will this buttstock fit on a 16ga. model 12 that I have? I don't know if the stock sizes are different. I've been looking for a model 12 buttstock (original) and this is the first one that I've found in good condition. Thanks, Jeff

  Yes it should fit all.I can find no referance to differant stocks for each.

  NOPE, M-12 CAME IN TWO FRAME SIZES, 12 GA. AND 16/20/28 GA. THE 12 GA. STOCK WILL FIT ON A 16GA. BUT THERE WILL BE EXTRA WOOD ON THE SIDES.
