  Never heard of the .480 Ruger chambering but I just picked up my Puma in .454 Casull less than three hours ago after that D***ed ten day waiting period here in Kalifornia.
  
  Bummer: I want my knife.
  
  I'm looking at the "Legacy Sports International" booklet & the very brief owners manuel that were packed with the gun & neither has any mention of a .480 Ruger chambering.

  well the .480 ruger is what i was looking at for a pistol to deer hunt with. Can't say a whole lot about it. Couldnt' get the money together to afford the pistol so stopped researching it.

  I guess it will be in their 2003 catalog. We will have to just wait and see.
