T/C Rifle

I've seen these rifles that can change barrels can you change to any caliber.Can anyone give me some info on these rifles or where I can get some like what caliber,style,the actual name etc.

  T/C rifles or pistols use a frame that enables the barrel to be easily exchanged to most any caliber. The Contender (which has been upgraded recently) is a lighter version that handles calibers that create less pressure (i.e. frame does not have to be as strong). The Encore is a heavier version that handles higher pressure calibers. I have seen a 300 win. mag. These rifles/handguns are very accurate and give the owner the option of shooting many calibers. IMHO one of the best firearms on the market today.

  Mossberg SSI-One (single shot interchangeable} Has anyone tried any of these calibers, if so how was your accuracy?

  D@D: I have several T/C contender and encore , you would'nt go wrong in buying one, in just a few minuets you can change from rifle to shotgun or pistol , just all depends on how many barrels you have.
  the contender is for smaller cal. where the encore is for the larger stuff like my 50 cal blackpowder, you can also get a 20 gauge barrel for the encore along with a lot of different rifle and pistol cals.
  
  a complete gun goes for about $450 to $550 and then the barrels are about $200 - $250 for new ones and used ones can be had for about $150 or so
