Russian Izmash-Vepr
I am wondering what the quality of these 2 Ak 47's is. I have seen the Izmash for $350 to $450 and the Vepr for around $500 are these prices decent or can they be bought cheaper. Are they any better or worse than the other brands. Thanks

Well, the Izmash is supposedly made from the original arms factory in Russia that made actual AKs (I'm not sure if the parts assembled here). The Vepr is made via a sturdier, re-inforced receiver so it will be a little heavier.
I don't have either so I can't offer you any advice, except, pick up one the latest issues of shotgun news (Nov 20th). It has an article evaluating various AKs and those two included.
