ARs-Armalite or Bushmaster

I'm shopping for my first AR15 and wanted the benefit of the collective experience. I've come down to Armalite or Bushmaster... Opinions, Pro and Cons

  First of all welcome to our wonderful little world,You will find we are like a coffee shop group...We have our disagreements and sometimed get a little crabby with each other but we genuinely care for one another. To answer your question I dont own an ar-15 clone but as so often quoted on this board dont forget your ABC's
  1.armalite
  2.bushmaster
  3.colt
  in that order

  For the money I really like the Bushmaster,and their are alot of up grades you can do yourself.Both are worthy guns,I can only say the Bushy I and a friendd built is a great shooting gun.It will shoot anything I put in it.Good Luck Welcome aboard.

  tank, welcome to our little world. This question pops up all of the time so I brought up an earlier post from the archives for you to look over. There is often heated discussion on these issues so use your own best judgement. I prefer the Bushmaster over the Armalite myself...but I'm really a Colt AR-15 man at heart.
