Flash suppressor legalities......???

Is it legal to mount a flash suppressor on a currently produced bolt action rifle? I read about one that doubles as a muzzle break and accuracy enhancer (cost is a mere 600 dollars installed!) and would like to get one on my .300 win mag but i wasnt sure if it is legal since they are no longer allowed on rifles such as the ar-15 and ak-47. Is it legal and/or what are the restrictions?

  They are legal on bolt action rifles, at least on the federal level. State or local laws may be different.

  600 bucks ? For that price it had better come equipped with a brand new Kreager (or other premeium) barrel attached to it.

  I wasnt kidding about the price. The flash hider is from Nor-Cal Precision and looks like a small silencer on the barrel. Its design supposedly reduces a 300 WM flash by 95% and recoil is greatly reduced, also accuracy benefits. I read a review and they say its worth it, but i may just go the route of a conventional flash hider.
