M11/9 and Subgun/Carbine Ammo
I have been told the M11/9 will handle the high velocity subgun and carbine ammo with no problem. Is that true? I'd like to use it in my M11/9 with 10" barrel if so. Also, how much difference in velocity would this produce, particularly with the 10" barrel?

This really does not answer your question but, I used the Winchester 9mm from Walmart available in 100rd boxes for $10.97
It works great in my SWD M-11 and the old MAC-10.
I had the M-11 out today. I fired about 500 rounds in short order without a single jam.
That ammo seems plenty powerful....enough to cycle my M-11 and my Mac-10. The Mac 10 has a heavy bolt and it pretty stiff...but that Winhester still cycles it perfectly. PMC and American Eagle ammo is not hot enough for the Mac 10.
I probably put a good 2500 rounds of that Winchester 9mm through the M-11...I love it.0 -
I use the Winchester ammo in my M-11 and it loves it too. Also the cheap Wolf and S&B milspec type stuff works good too. I would stay away from +P ammo for the Mac. The chamber walls are pretty thin. If you are having cycling problems, try 124gr FMJ's 0
