I've a Colt .45LC rev. it has a 13" Barrel Pat dates are Sep.18 1871,Jul 2,72 and Jan 19,75 Would like to know history and value

  Expect to pay, probably $200.00 for a factory letter. Probably not
  13". A picture would help. May be worth a great deal of money, Sorry,
  but unlikely not. A buntline w/ barrel length described....no way that I can be sure. Measure the barrel again again and if really interested, buy Colt's letter. Serial number range and condition is helpful. A Colt collector for over thirty years, measure again. Would be happy to advise a guess price but I, am sorry, nothing adds up. 101
