Sako firebird vs. 7mm ultra mag

Is the firebird any better than the 7mm ultra mag when using 140 grain factory ammo? Both are 26" barrels. Thanks for any info.

  Velocities may vary, I havn't checked the tables on the firebird. Remember however, the Ultra mag ammo is available at most sporting goods stores and is quickly ending up everywhere, where as the lazzeroni ammo is hard to find, and EXPENSIVE. Now, if you are a handloader, go ahead and get either one, once you have some brass, it's not a big deal. Hope that helps some.
