The XP-100 which fires the .221 fireball was dropped from production by Remington in 1988. Later models fireing other calibers were dropped by 1998. The .221 fireball ammo was dropped sometime in the mid to late '90's. Remington has reintroduced the ammo just this year because they have produced the 700 classic in .221 Fireball caliber. The ammo is currently available at about $20.00 a box of 20. It is basically the same as the old stuff. The original box would fit in a recess made for it in the zippered case that came with the XP-100. Later this box was made larger and the box would no longer fit in that space. If you have the older box, dimensions are 4 and 6/8 inches long by 2 and 1/4 inches tall, I would be interested in buying a box or two from you to fit in the original case. As I can reload the stuff for about $2.00 a box, I only want it to add to my case and not shoot it. Let me know.

    Hope this helps.
