Glock 30 magazine followers
I bought some additional factory Glock 30 magazines online and they had a more pointy follower than the ones I got at the gunshop in the box and from their shelf. Is one newer/better than the other. They all seem to function ok.

Bump. Got to be a Glock armorer or maven out there with an answer to this one.

Mike as long as they say glock on them, I'm sure they will be fine.
Did you pick up that detective special yet? That's a nice one!

I'm sure they're ok, but a few folks have had issues with G30 mags, so I'd willingly update followers to make certain. Even "perfection" can be a little more perfect. If anyone knows the scoop, I'd really appreciate it.
Just got the Detective Special today. After a few cylinders I began to get 'em in the black. I know some folks like to keep these stowed away, but this is definitely a shooter!

I had a problem with the followers on my 21. When the slide was in battery, the top cartridge would sit just so, and I couldn't draw back the slide to chamber the round. The tip of the cartridge was sitting at a funny angle and blocked the slide from coming back. I changed the followers and haven't had the problem since. I don't know what it was...the ones I replaced them with didn't look at that different.
