came across 2 old mausers, wondering what they are. Sorry i dont have access to a digital camera. The first one has a marking on the reciever that are in this oder
FABRIC CARMAS
____OVIEDO
_____1929
with the fabic carmas is in a U shape. It also says
OVIEDO SPAIN M1916
SAMCO MIA FL 7MM MAU
at the end of the botom side of the barrel. The serial number on the barrel and reciever is T9785.

The second one has markings on the reciever in this order (THE LINES ARE JUST SPACE TAKERS)

______K KHALE

and it has a star over a crescent moon in the center. The end of the barrel is marked
M1938 GERMAN 8MM
C.A.I. ST. ALB. VT.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP IDENTIFY THESE AND TELL ME WHAT THEY ARE AND IF THERE ANY GOOD I WOULD A PPRECIATE IT.

  Hi all, question, i aquired my dads rifles and need to id 3 mauser rifles and need a site with pics so i can see what i have. they all have been sporterized by him, all still have original barrles,bolts and receivers. any idears where i can find info with pics.

  I xan help with the M98, but not the price. series 2 (m93/94/95/96) has a 1 1/4" receiver ring and a 7 5/8 center to center on the trigger guard screws. the series 3 (m98) has a 1 3/8" receiver ring and a 7 7/8 center to center on the trigger screws. Hope this helps.
