Should I buy or pass
I've been offered a used Glock 30 (45ACP) with case, lock, etc and 4 mags, the asking price is $450. I know I can get one NIB online with 2 mags for $509 + shipping + FFL fee. This one dosn't involve either of these costs (face to face private sale) but what I don't know is A) how much are the extra 2 mags worth, and 
what is a fair (to both of us) price.
I havent seen the gun yet so I can't apprase the condition, but I'm told it's "excelant" to "as new" condition.
I'm intrested in it as a plinker mainly, but someday I might get a CCW.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

Extra mags are usually around $20 ... shipping will probably run $25-$35 ffl fee is usually another $20 around here ... if it is all that nice you'll be saving around $100 and no paper ... personally I'd be all over it!
BTW, The G-30 is not a rare piece, if your going to go the fourm 4473 route you ask how much your FFL dealer would sell you one for ... some of dealers around here are getting a little pi$$y because they can order the gun and sell it to you for that same price or a little less and put $20-$30 in their pocket ... just like whoever your buying it from does ... Why pay another dealer the profit if your dealer can meet that price? The only guns I buy over the net anymore are the ones that are rare or out of production that my dealer can't get.
We need to support our local dealers whenever we can or they'll be gone!

The used gun is the better buy. Glocks don't wear out. Check the exterior for a beat appearance and go with it if it looks clean and undinged.
There's $100 difference excluding the case and extra two mags. They have to be worth at least another $50. How about tax?

I'm still proving my G30 out, but I must tell you that I have never been as impressed with how good this one is. I probably would have passed by at least four or five other defensive guns if I had one of these sooner.

Sounds like a good deal. I recently sold my Glock 30 with 6 mags for
565.00 plus shipping. It was in Excellent condition and three of the Mags were brand new...Wish I had it back...

No paperwork, private sell is HUGE the less the govt. knows the better. I too would be all over it. Just remember this if you do decide to go concealed carry you'll probably have to register it to be able to carry it, not sure just a thought. 0 -
My Glock is 2 y/o and has had hundreds of rounds through it and is still in excellent condition. Tkae the used Glock you can't go wrong. 0 -
