I think Shooting Times or G&a had an article last month on the 110 rebarrel.

    Hey Mobuck,

That article is precisely what got my motor running. The guy that wrote the article was building a rifle at the Savage factory. I want to be able to change calibers at the range or in my den. I'm not clear on what this entails.

I have Midway's Gunsmithing catalog and it shows parts and barrels.
I have tried the Adams and Bennett website but I get a "This page cannot be opened" page.

    Good luck to me.

Hey Bud,I also wanted to do that but with my 10fp.I was told after you buy all the tools/gun vice/barrel/head space ga I could almost buy another .223.What are the barrels costing and If a smith did it??I have found that things are never as easy as they sound

Brownells has Sav 110 parts listings. I saw most or all of the parts needed for the switch barrel thing in their catalog.

    Thanks Guys,

    I didn't think to look in my Brownell's catalog(I don't know why).

I already have go/no-go gauges for various cartridges and I just ordered barrel vise/blocks and wrench from Midway.

I now have two more dilemmas. What "base" Savage do I want? How am I going to justify ANOTHER rifle to my wife?

    Thanks again,

    Bud
