Shooting to high mossberg 20ga
I have a mossberg 20ga 24inch rifle bored model 5ooc that shoots a slug very high, 12inches at 25yds and 4 ft at 100yds. the rear sight adjusted as low as possible. Shooting lightfield and Rem sabots. has anyone else had this problem. waiting on ans from Mossberg

I have had that problem, but with rifles, not shotguns.
The best solution is do what Mossberg recommends. They will probably replace the barrel or sights.
Soultions I've used in the past to correct such a problem are:
1- get a taller front sight blade--that is the best and most simple.
2- bend the barrel down just a little about 8-12" from the muzzle (which takes more nerve than skill).
Both of those techniques work.
My humble input, with which I'll probably catch lots of flak.
