Smoothbore .22 rifle w/attached clay bird thrower
Saw a very unusual rifle at the Kansas City Cabela's gun library....I think it was a Marlin, smooth bore in .22 cal...attached to the barrel was small spring loaded clay bird thrower that threw "mini" sized clay birds...(perhaps mo-skeet) It allowed the shooter to pull his own targets then follow thru and fire on the bird. They had it listed for $700. Anyone seen or heard of one of these?...would like to know more about these.

sounds like an old mossberg targo.they had 6-8"screw on "chokes"smooth or rifled.the main barrels were smooth bore.it probably should be new in the box for 700. 0 -
I think your're right, it was a Mossberg Targo....don't know if they had the box. I'd like to shoot one of these sometime....looks like fun. 0 -
I own one of these Targos but missing the thrower and the rifled choke. I guess I will post this need on the want ads. Thanks, Don. 0
