Question for CaptKirk

Another newbie and I were discussing the reposting of questions here at Ask the Experts and at the Want ad site. What is considered proper etiquette on this subject.
I would think new people are looking in all the time and might have what we are looking for, both goods and answers. But, we don't want to seem overbearing either.
What's your thoughts on this? And Thanks in advance.

  You might not get an answer ODTex. I heard the our ElCapitan was highjacked by Japanese Pirates off the coast of Catalina Island and taken to an obscure location in the south seas where he is being forced to be a love slave for the young native women. My heart goes out to him.

  It was terrible....But I managed to escape during the night...I grabbed the Queen and escaped on a Floating Coconut Log Raft with nothing on but a smile and my Super Duper Pelican GPS and Mini Computer and Grilled Cheese Maker...{all in one unit}..and am now back home and ready for business as usual...
  In response to the question tendered..When a Subject is closed after 10 replies [or as close as I can to 10 replies] it's closed because it has run its course in the Ask the Experts Field and after 10 replies it becomes a General Discussion Topic....There have been some super Topics that would run until the Hades freezes over, and I have enjoyed them myself...but, had to close them because of the Limit that I imposed on these Forums over 3 years ago....thats not what Ask the Experts was setup to do...If I did'nt close them at a specific number, we would have another General Discussion Forum...Out of the 1000's of Clients that are members of these Forums...only 15 or 20 seem to have ever had any problem with this dicission...So I must be doing something right...This is my responsibilty and I'm doing the best I can...If any of you wish to discuss this further please feel free to contact me via direct email...Respectfully..........
