  We 're using a Savage 10 FP that I got in trade with a bad barrel. A great guy on the east coast put a Rem varmint barrel on it for Brad and we are in business. The scope base is a Leupold LEFT hand with a 3/16" extension on the right side drilled for a Marlin 336 weaver base. On that I mount an Aimpoint 7000. In use, I sit on Brad's right side and look over his right shoulder through the aimpoint which is sighted to match the crosshairs of the regular scope on the rifle. I had a friend tig weld the extension so there is no warping and it works good. This sets in the Bullsbag on a shelf at the front edge of the deerhouse window. It is good as far as my eyes can see the deer but so far we have only taken shots out to 150 yards or so. We shoot quite a bit with a companion sighted 10/22. Thanks for the interest. Mobuck

  That is a great set-up. I would never have thought of anything like that. Still requires good steady hold and trigger control from the shooter too. Did you figure this out yourself or did you get an idea somewhere? The whole "companion" sighting thing is new to me.
  
  I have always felt that shooting sports provide a lot of opportunities for handicapped participation compared to other sports.
