US M84 Rifle Scope
I have a US M84 Scope with mount, I wanted to use it with my M1A however my M1A receiver is not drilled/tapped for theis mount (which is one screw) I believe its for the M1 Garand. its in excellent condition with clear optics
Anyone know anything about these, value, etc
Thanks in advance,

There is no reason why you can't use the M84 on your M1A. The only practical way to mount a scope on an M1A is with a special M14-type mount (made by Springfield Inc, Brookstone, & a couple of others) which you are going to have to buy anyway; in addition, you will need to buy rings to attach whatever scope you use to the mount. The M84 requires a 7/8" ring.
Having said that, you should be able to get $350-400 for the M84 if it is in excellent original condition with sunshade and eye cup. That might be enough to pay for a modern scope that will perform better.
