I have a chance to buy a colt agent 38 special and the ? is what is
the beter gun the agent or the detective,or are the same gun.
Also what would be a good price on the agent.

  Same gun as the DS except shorter grip and alloy frame. If the ejector rod is shrouded it would be the 2nd issue. Have seen them sell for anywhere from 150 to 350 in 95% in this area.

  Punchie's got it.
  
  The advantage of the Agent is that it's lighter, but you don't want to fire too many +Ps thru it.
  
  The Dick Special is heavier, but has a stronger frame.
