how can i find out how old some of my shot guns are? they were my dads grandfathers and i am well over 50 yrs of age? thks for yr help

what make are they? There are some websites that will tell you for free-on other brands you will have to contact the manufacturer-often a fee is involved.

what i should of said that they were Diamond Arms from St. Louis!!!!!!!! thks all!!!!!!

PeeWee,sounds like Hardware Company guns.Probably from Cresant Arms Company.They masde them for outfits too many to try to list.Also they might have been made in Europe and imported.Since the shotgun was in almost all homes in the early years,it is very difficult to find out where they all came from and no one has ever made a ;ist of them all.
I am sure thisis not what you wanted to hear.If you could copy every mark,word, letter,number,from every where on the gun,including the butt plate and forarm iron,I'll try to make sense of it for you.It takes time and MANY books.I am lucky to have both.Ah retirement!!!!
