I would imagine that it should work depending on what kind of pistol you a talking about. I can't think of anything in 9mm Largo that I would be willing to spend the money to convert. 9mm Largo ammo is not that expensive. I have an Astra 400 that I load for by using 38 Super Brass. I would just buy a 9mm Luger caliber pistol. If it is a pistol that there is not a commercially available barrel, you could easily spend a couple hundred bucks having one made by a gunsmith.

I just purchased a destroyer cardine in 9 mm largo.
I have pressed a sleeve in the barrel in the past( this is not my first)to make up for the difference in case length.I would reckon this would work in a pistol?I have done it in a 7.62-45 to 7.62-39.
.32 french long to .32 auto. I make a chamber cast to get the exact chamber length, then turn a bushing a little over sized and press it with some loc-tite to the bottom.

Ive changed over 2 Star Super from 9mm largo to 9mm para ,
You can buy the Barrel from www.gunpartscorp.com The difference in caseing is in the rim where it sits in the extractor-largo is bigger!
