deer barrel for 410 pump remington!

  If you mean a short, smooth bore bbl with rifle sights I have never seen or heard of one.

  their was some one early that asked this question, since them I have asked 2 different gun shops in my area about this barrel and both said there isn't one made, too get something for the Rem. in a actual slug barrel you have to go to the 20 gauge

  remington does not make a rifled bbl or bbl with rifle sights for the 410.
  
  i have shot many many slugs thru my mossberg 410 with great success. your 870 has a 25 vented rib bbl coorect? you can do one of 2 things: first you can purchase some tru-glo or gobble dot or what ever they are called now, fiber optic sights that mount to your guns rib. these sights give the extra precision by placing a rear sight on the gun as well as a front sight.
  
  option 2 is to purchase a tasco side mounted scope mount. this mounts with a screw thru the trigger housing and the other pin on your recvr. top it off with a qulaity wideview 4x scope and you have a great 50 yard deer gun for a discriminating hunter. the 410 delivers about the same energy as the 44 mag handgun, so be selective and patient.
  
  slug choice: federal remington and winchester all manufacture 2 1/2 foster slugs. rottweil brenneke is the only maker of the 3 incher. i have used my mossberg 410 with slugs to kill coyotes and mid sized game in ny. i recently purchased a remington 870 410. the recvr is going to be drilled and tapped and a red dot will be mounted on top of it. my plans are to use this for pigs in hawaii. i am also looking into a 2 3/4 inch steel casing slug manufactured in russia. it was made for the saiga semi auto and is extremely accurate. i have read much into 410 hunting and handloading. the 410 is very accurate for a smoothbore slug gun. at 50 yards my mossberg will hold a 2 inch group with remington slugs. i have since found out that to make your gun more accurate, spend the extra money, get a few different boxes of factory slugs, cut them open and measure the size of the slug with a micrometer. i learned from an article testing the 9410 that the winchester slug fits tighter in the bore of the gun, reducing slop as it travels down the barrel. in the test the winchester slug was more accurate than the remington. also try the brenneke slugs and the federals!!
  
  also fwiw, s&b as well as winchester manufacture buckshot for the 410. im not sure if you would use it on deer, i personally wouldnt, but three inch and 2 1/2 is available.
