Winchester Values
Sat is opening day of deer season here in Indiana, shotgun or handgun. Well my brother shows up at the door this morning with his two guns given to him by his widowed aunt to see if they can be used for deer hunting. He is an idiot, and knows nothing about guns or deer hunting, he's much better at beer hunting.
Well what he showed up with are two Winchesters, and I am hoping someone can give me an idea of vintage and value, I know it's hard to do without seeing the guns but my blue book is out on loan.
1) Winchester Model 12 pump, 2 3/4" chamber, 20 gauge, improved cylinder, 25" barrel, there is a checkered groove on top of the reciever and a bead front sight. No ventilated rib, perfect bore, easily 98% steel and not a reblue, wood is about 95% with a few dings and scratches. S/N 762807
2) Winchester Model 61, pump, .22S-L-Lr, about 98% but does have some light rust freckling on the reciever, perfect bore, perfect wood, adj blade rear sight and a dovetailed bead front sight, not a reblue, S/N 80763
I feel these are pretty old guns and probably have some value but no idea, of course I had him leave them here for cleaning, and told him to go find a real shotgun, any help here??? Thanks, Mark

The Model 61, .22 Caliber Pump Gun...Made in 1948..Production began at 80343 and ended at 103279 for the production run...value as discribed...$850.00 to $1100.00........Best....
