Taurus 92 vs 99

Can anyone tell me the difference between the pt 92 and 96 and also
the pt99. Also what is the AFS99?

  The 92 is a 9mm fixed sight, 99 is 9mm adjustable sight, 96 is fixed sight 40 S&W, 101 is adustable sight 40 S&W, and most of the letter designation are for finish.

  The model 96 is a Beretta .40 not a Taurus.Taurus Pt92-99 AFS=Auto Fireing Stainless.PT100 is .40 cal fixed sites.The Pt92 is fixed sites 9MM,as well as the PT99 has adjustible sites 9mm.The PT 101 is .40 cal adjustible sites.
