    Yes it will take Hi caps or Drums but its a pump action.I dont know the laws for sure in CA but can you ship Hi Cap Mags to CA?

    No! Ten round maximum. If you already have them you can keep hi-caps but you can't even transfer them in private party sales.

    You can ship High Caps to California if you have a " Large Capacity
    Magazine Permit"! Which I have. Many suppliers will not ship as they
    are uncertain of the laws. I do not blame them for this at all. Our laws are difficult at best. I am not even certain that pos is legal in
    Ca. I am not also willing to look into the legality. POS=POS 101

    Gruntled is correct... High cap mags (over 10 rds) cannot be imported into Cal or sold within the state, but the ones we had before the ban can be kept. The law goes so far as to state you cannot give, lend, sell... etc.etc. to another person.
    I have not heard of anyone getting busted for handing their buddy a mag while out plinking, but I guess that is technically illegal also.
    I saw one of these new pump action AK's at one of my local shops. Its hard to tell its a pump. The give away is the dark gripping surface on the forearm, and yes it does accept high-caps, drums included.

    101.. you are right also, but the only people who can still buy high-caps are law enforcement and other hi-cap dealers with a permit.
    Iam in L.E. and I cant just walk into any shop and buy my hi-caps. Most shops in Ca dont even have them. We get them from an L.E. distributor and only with a letter from our chief.

    Correct.
    I can only supply to leo w/letter head and other legal " High
    Capacity Magazine Permit" holders. I would have to have a letter
    from your C.L.E.O to sell you a high capacity magazine. Just the law.
    Basically responding to "rugster". Still do not know what the legality
    of subject arm is in Kalifornia. This is subject to change by the hour. I recommend " State Laws and Publications-Firearms" 2001-23rd edition. Not all the answers but a subjective few. 101

    101 I agree major POS! Interesting idea though. Was wondering if anyone had owned or shot one. I've seen them in shotgun news for pretty cheap. But have to question reliablity & function. Don't think I'd ever buy one, don't live in CA but have friends that live there.
