Tasco is out of biz, but some firm bought the name etc. With no warranty back up etc., I'd pass unless it was so cheap you can't resist. 0 -

I have a Tasco High power scope, about 6x24 or so and I could never get it to be accurate after each shot. Finally, I saved up for a Leopold. Forget Tasco unless you want it for your BB gun.

Funny you should say that, bear47. Many years ago, I took the Tasco off my Ruger 10/22 and put it on my Daisy pump. 0 -

Bushnell will be coming out with a new line of tasco. They are going to fix some of the old problems they had with them for instance not staying accurate. The new High powered line should be pretty decent so you might want to wate until they come out. The other thing is any time you by a cheap scope like tasco there is a good chance you won't be happy with it. Sometimes its better to wate and save some money and get a good scope. A high powered scope with low grade optics will not be very clear on the high power levels. 0
