Mike, There were hundreds of these small manufacturers in the Eibar region of Spain and they produced millions of these Browning Baby knock-offs. Does your pistol have a safety lever located on the left side of the frame, above the trigger? Is it marked "F" as the top marking? The three triangles are a clue as to the maker, but tracking it down may be a long and difficult process. I can't find any information on the maker in my reference guides.

These little automatics are serviceable enough...I've had a few and they all managed to work after eighty years of neglect. The sock drawers of America must be packed full of these little guys as they turn up in never ending quantities. Fixing it up is going to be a losing proposition as the price of the parts or a refinish will vastly excede the value of the pistol. Selling it is now a problem; interest in these little guns among collectors has dropped off to near zero as a result of the UPS policy which requires handguns be shipped by overnight air. Not many folks are willing to pony up $40 to ship a $75 pistol.

I like to pick these things up at auctions and estate sales for a few bucks (some times in bulk) and then hand them over in a firearms "buy back" program- sometimes you can get as much as $100 for these pistols and the folks running the programs are too stupid to understand what is being turned in! I say give it a good cleaning and if it works just leave it alone. If it won't function you can sell it for parts or find another creative use for it. Just don't cut into line ahead of me for the "buy back" money...this is my scam!

That particular pistol was made by the Ritolaza company. New condition, about $400 for collector value. Since yours is much worse than new, it could go for $200-250 if it could be made to work well. Rebluing could up this. Finding a collector to buy it, would be another challange... If there are occasional malfunctions, I wouldn't think it would be more than $150.
