Picked up a side by side at an auction a few months ago and am having a hard time figuring out exactly what it is and how much it is worth. It is a Ranger Precision Grade 104.3 in 12 guage. 90-95% condition. Solid rib, double triggers, 3" chambers, case hardened receiver.non-automatic ejectors.thanks in advance.[This message has been edited by JollyWhiteGiant (edited 12-26-2001).]

I have a few, like to collect them. probably sold by Sears if a Ranger. Made by Stevens who also made the for Mont. Wards. Ex condition about $150, Vg about $125 and lower. Not a big dollar gun. You can pick up real nice ones for less than $100. Fait condition I have bought from $45 to $65. Also have seen them at gun shows selling for $450 to the uneducated.

Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

I have seen one of these shotguns that had a reference to being made on the Browning patent. I owned one in 12ga. that also had the M.Wards name on it. Nice old guns.

Pass on the tradition, teach a kid to shoot.

I believe that gun was also known as the Model 95,it was made between the early 1900s to 1940.Some were known as the Texas Ranger.
