    You are the supreme authority on California gun laws, or so it appears to me from my lurking. [:D] I have a question concerning bringing a Colt Frontier Scout into the state. I know that I must register the revolver within a certain timeframe, but is a Scout even legal to own in the state? I don't find it in the laws and don't know if this type of revolver was drop tested by the state. Probably not. I inherited one from a relative and would like to bring it home. What do you think? Any other experts know? Replies would be appreciated.

    Palantrion, I'm sorry but I did not see your post until right this second. I am located in Rancho Santa Margarita which is about 20 minutes south of Orange...unless the 55/5 freeways are jammed solid. I do not do retail sales. If you are a LE officer or FFL dealer, e-mail me and perhaps we can do some business. I will make sales to C&R holders if you meet all of our state regulations for that license.

    It was NEVER my intention to use the GB Forums as a means of generating firearms sales. My posts are simply to provide information and not to try to impress folks and make them think that I am some super gun dealer and then have them buy firearms from me. I think the use of these forums for such a purpose would be not be ethical. I'm just another working stiff trying to make a living, and in this state it is not easy! I manage to find some free time to share what I know about firearms here in the forum and people seem to enjoy reading my posts...that is all the compensation I need.

    No sweat, I didn't mean to imply that you were trying to promo through the forum.

    I guess I was just pleasantly supprised when I read that we lived in the same county Hmmm, if you supply to FFL dealers, I wonder if (potential "small world" here) you have by any chance recently supplied a titanium Taurus 85 to a Westminster private FFL.
