Baikal & Stroger??????????
Can someone tell me how the baikal o/u shoots? I had a chance to pick one up and give a good look this past weekend. They seem kinda light which leads me to belive recoil may pose a problem. Since I will be using to duck hunt and turkey hunt. Can steel shot be put through them. Where can one get extra chokes?
I heard benelli bought out stroger arms and are marketing a new o/u through them. Anyone got any info price/looks/how does it handel/choke tubes or not?????? Any info would be nice. Both pro and con.

Stoegers have a very high repair rate and are considered more trouble than value. Baikal's are a tad light but have proven themselves to be a very good value for the money.

You can get choke tubes for Baikal from www.carlsonchokes.com 0 -
I have 2 of the Stoeger Condor O/U shotguns, a 12 and a 20, and I have been pleased with them. They use the same chokes as the Mossberg 500. I have not had any problems with mine. I seem to hit better with them than I do with my 20 ga Red Label and Browning Lightning superposed. 0 -
Check out the spanish made Lanber's, they are really nice for the price. A friend of mine recently ordered one through CDNN Investments for $275. Walnut furniture/stainless steel reciever, vent rib barrel, nice bluing. Unbelievable value for the price!
When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....0 -
I've heard good things about the Baikal. A friend of mine has one and enjoys shooting it. I've been thinking of trading one of my 870's for one. 0 -
Thanks for your replys. Now can anyone refer me to where I can order baikal, stoeger, or lanber???????? All the sites I have visited have offered fixed chokes or double triggers. I have local FFL who will order for me. Just need reference.

I bought my Stoegers at Dick's Sporting Goods. If you have access to one of these chain stores, they have them on sale right now for $279.95. The Condors that they sell come with screw-in chokes. 0 -
Go to cdnninvestments.com and contact them and have them send you a catalog. You will be able to find what you want in it. Their web sight doesn't show the guns for some reason. You can then have your ffl order what you want.
