quick estimate on pistol value
Its not rare, collectable or old, but without buying a gun guide, I haven't found a good value for it.
I have a Taurus 607, stainless, 7-shot, .357mag, ported 4" barrel. it has a bit of wear on the near end of the barrel, where the cylinder mates up (closing it one handed with the barrel down a few times) but otherwise, its in excellent condition, no dings, no scratches, cleaned religiously.
I'm thinking about trading it in for something different. I've enjoyed it, but three things about it aren't a particularly good fit:
1) its a heavy beast (which reduces the felt recoil), and I'm a small guy.
2) I hate cleaning it. I won't shoot it without cleaning it afterwards. Therefore, I don't shoot it enough to maintain a good proficiency level. This baby has just too many holes to clean.
3) I haven't been able to find speedloaders for it that fit. The S&W 7-shot speedloaders are *close* but not quite.
Anyway, I'd appreciate a reasonable estimate of what I could get out of it in the MIDWEST area.
