Ruger mag follower

Does anyone know if I can get a factory Ruger P-Series 9mm mag follower from Ruger or another source? Also are there any legal issues with replacing the follower in a pre-ban mag with one from a post-ban mag?

  You can get them from Ruger. Spring and Follower together are about $2.75
  
  Also I think Wolff Springs have both.
  
  Nothing is illegal unless you get caught.

  Probably "Legal" I would guess. But, I would bet there are some regulations/rules/laws, devised by some state, county, township, city, burg, village, hamlet, regional territory, homestead, or other type of populated civilized, (maybe?) center of development, who would object to fixing something that was broken......!!!
