finish on rifle
I am building a custom rifle with the help of a gunsmith and have a question to ask you all I am planing to blue the rifle but have been told by others that I may want to use a different finish I will be using this rifle for deer as well as elk (on horse back in saddle rifle case) as well as next year moose hunting what finish will hold up the best and keep the rifle looking good I am putting in alot of time on this rifle I had no idea how much work went into taking a mauser military action and making a custom gun so I want it to last and last and last

TEFLON!! Teflon coating is resistant to rust and the matte color looks nice. I wish it was on all my guns! Probably can get it done for under 150.00. GHD 0
