Help with Stevens 77B 12 ga

I have recently acquired a Stevens Savage model 77B 12 ga, 28" bbl. Has the Savage Super Choke, very nice condition.

Any info on where to find SN and date of mfr? Possible worth?

  As a P.S.--Please get out and vote tomorrow!   OK, never mind the previous question...seems I have a fairly run of the mill, decent little shooter from the mid 50's. Apparently the 77 models are fairly interchangeable and virtually the same. The B may be linked to its mfg run date. Condition is very good, leaning toward fine, aside from a couple spots of freckling. My boys and I will enjoy it, once they are old enough to hold it up.
