Matte Finish on 1991

Is the matte applied to the frame or is it just a rough cut of true stainless? Have a matte and want a bright.

It's not applied, so I guess you can call it a 'rough cut'. I have a stainless commander that had a matte finish. I had the flats and all the moving parts polished and had the fram re-bead blasted for a smoother frosted look.

Not many replies but I polished mine anyway. It came out excelent
