.22 calibre rifle
I am planning to buy a .22 rifle. Magnum Research has the Magnumlite 10/22 with the "barracuda" stock which I am absolutely in love with. The price on the other hand is outrageous. Is there anything better out there for the price. Should I get a standard Ruger .22 rifle, and buy the barracuda stock and all the upgrades? Or should I buy a complete package rifle? Your thoughts please. Any info on the Magnumlite or Acculite will definitely be appreciated.

You cant go wrong with the stock Ruger 10-22 . The are accurate, have good sights, are reasonably priced, and there are lots of after market goodies you can get for it.
I have 3 of them, with and without scopes, and have added a Butler Creek bull barrel and a Power Custom trigger to one, and it is now a tack driver.0
