AC4 Pneumatic Recoil Buffer for AR15

In my latest copy of shotgun news, Olympic Arms is selling a pneumatic recoil buffer to replace the recoil spring in an AR15. Does anybody have any experience with this device? If it reduced the recoil that might be nice, but I'm not real crazy about spending $129 for something that might be a equivalent to a sealed shock absorber that can't be rebuilt.

  I have one and what it does is take that shake out of your rifle every time it is fired with that spring,and is alot smoother.You can alway keep your spring if you have problems down the road. I haven't had any yet but I kept my old spring anyway.

  Thanks for the reply Larry. Is it fair to say that it sounds like it smoothens out the recoil much more than it really reduces it?

  Recoil? From an AR? Thats laughable!
