Ruger scope rings
I have a Ruger 77/44 and did have a standard model 77 I sold. I gave the guy what I thought were the rings for the standard model, but today I tried to put a 2.5x scope on the 77/44, and no matter which way I put them on, one of the pair was way to high compaired to the other ring. My question, are their different Ruger rings for different Model 77s? No, I didn't get the pairs mixed up, both pairs were still new in the pkg Ruger sent them in.

I don't think the medium rings will allow the objective to
clear the screw on the handguard. See where the screw on the handguard has a raised area of the plastic around it? that's where my objective connected until I shimmed the rings.
A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.0
