Chambering

Have Ruger # 1 in 218 Bee. Would it rechamber to 22-250 without changing barrels? Tried to measure the twist and came up with 15 inches, but loading manuals show 1 in 16, and 1-14 for the 22-250. Asuming the above would work, what weight bullets would I have to shoot in the 22-250. Thanks, in advance. GW.
