Need information on a Remington 541s 22 cal rifle.I have no clue as to its condition.This was left to me by an uncle who passed away.I was told it once belonged to my father.Any thoughts on this rifle would be appreciated.Not real interested in value,as it's sentimental worth is priceless.Thanks ,Ace

  Bolt action repeater. Scroll engraving on rcvr and trigger guard. Caliber:22short, Long, LR 5-shot mag 24 inch BBL weight:5.5lbs supplied without sights. checkered walnut stock with rosewood-finished forend tip, pistol grip cap and buttplate. Made 1972-1984
  $525 in ex. cond

  Sold for $250 back in '80 with a ten round mag, here in Fort Worth.
  
  Nice rifle, they shoot good,look good. And since your Dad enjoyed it,it's priceless.
