question on model 86

I have a friend that has a hand me down 86 in 50-110 with set trigger and factory swing swivels any idea on value? gun is around 60% condition.

  You will need a LOT more information to get any idea of pricing on this rifle. Just the fact of the caliber increases the value by 100%. You need to get a copy of the Winchester Book to determine exactly what you have and then review the Blue Book of Gun Values as well as Gun List/Shotgun News to see where the pricing is going. Or find yourself a reputable dealer/appraiser to do the job for you.
