ruger auto 22 ejector replacment?
have a mk 1 ruger 22 auto pistol. looks like the ejector is broke. know it is riveted in the pistol. want to know if special tool required to replace it? hope some has done it and has all the answers.

I think you will find it better to let a qualified gun smith do the work.Great gun though.

Brownells catalog has the tool and part you need to fix your MK1

I also cannot find the page with the Ruger tool.But the Brownells part number is #080-926-000
My kit is dated 1998

brownells discontiued the mkI and II staking kit in dec of 99. if you could send me a pic or give me an idea of how it is set up i hope to be able to make one. thanks

dhtp1--I sent you two pictures,but I don't think they will be much help.Maybe you shoud send it back to it's maker and let them fix it.

Your absolute best bet is to send it back to Ruger. They are the ones with the tools and the knowhow. Call them at 203-259-7843. This probably won't cost much.
