I AM LOOKING FOR INFO ON A 8MM LEBEL MODEL 1892 REVOLVER. IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME ABOUT THIS GUN AND HOW MUCH IT IS WORTH I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

  It was the offical French Army Revolver through W.W.II. The most noteworthy design feature is a hinged side plate which makes cleaning and disassembly easy. A large screw protrudes from the right side of the grip directly behind the hammer. When this turned with a screw driver it forces the left hand side plate away from the frame, causing it to piviot on its hinge at the forward end of the frame. This exposes the lockwork and the frame section below the cylinder. They are collectable, but not rare. I do not own one, and don't have a good handle on the value--which of course depends on the condition.
