WW2 sword

hello,
i have a nazi sword with the lions head at the end of the grip, ruby eyes, and has the nazi insignia eagle with swastica. I was wondering what it would be worth. Thanks

  If the sword is original, in perfect shape, with it's scabbard and sword knot, it should bring about $200 U.S.

  tccox; is correct about the Made in India remark...Back in the late 60's and well into the Early 70's India was making and selling Copies of all the German Nazi Swords and Daggers and some that were Not Copies, but someones Idea of what a Nazi Sword should look like......A friend of mine had one of the Swords that was supposed to be a General Officers Dress Sword..SS Type..The Pommel was a Skull and the Eye Sockets were supposed to be Ruby's...and Acid Etched Blade with Plated Scabbard....SS wasgold Plated...and the Whole shootin Match was Phony!
  Only Worth what someone was willing to Pay for it..Hav'nt a clue as to what ever happened to it...Probably sold at a Gun Show in Phoenix.....?

  Thanks Captkirk. I think the "idiot" remark reflects on the intelligence level the poster. I also have some "Civil War" swords that have a handle on one end and a blade on the other. What are they worth?? No, PLEASE don't answer. Tom

  tom, I'm sorry about the remark, I thought you were saying it was plastic or something, like "made in china." i actually had no idea that fakes were being made. Next time be a bit more descriptive. I dont actually know if it is a fake or not, i never thought about it.
